Come along to Earthmill's next Open Day on Thursday 20th October 2011 at 10am.  Earthmill Ltd will be hosting two open day’s on Wednesday 28th September and Thursday 20th October at one of our installions at a micro-brewery near Hunmanby. This will enable farmers and land owners who are interested in wind power to see the Endurance 50kW (E-3120) in action. First Endurance 50kW Wind Turbine in Yorkshire is Exceeding Expectation

After a very exciting few weeks following the install of Earthmill’s first 50kW Endurance wind turbine we were especially delighted when we checked in with the turbines owner, farmer Tom Mellor, to see that the turbine is exceeding expectation. Following an average week of wind the turbine is doing over 1,200 units daily. This is fantastic news for Tom and of course excellent news for Earthmill. Installation of 50kW Endurance turbine is complete!

The highly anticipated 50kW Endurance turbine has been installed. After the incredible journey the turbine has taken leaving Canada approximately a month ago, the turbine is now standing proud at Wold Top Brewery. Installation has begun of 2 Endurance turbines at Wold Top Brewery!

On Thursday 26th May installation began on 2 brand new Endurance turbines at Wold Top Brewery. This is Yorkshire’s first Endurance turbines to be installed! Armed with a crane a telescopic handler and man power the team began work with offloading the tower. This was constructed on the floor bolting the two parts together and attaching the fall arrest system. Once that was complete it was attached to the crane and hoisted up where it was then placed into the foundations. Steve then climbed the tower to unhook the crane and the first part was complete. Yorkshire’s first Endurance Wind Turbine

Earthmill are entering into a very exciting week with the installation beginning of Yorkshire’s first Endurance Turbine. This is something that Endurance and Earthmill have worked very hard to achieve. I will be taking you through the stages step by step as they happen.
