The 225kW X35 incorporates a 35m diameter rotor. The large swept area makes it the most productive turbine in its class  for sites with a wind speed lower 7.5m/s.  

The original X-series design by Danish company Norwin, has now been generating clean energy around the globe for over 25 years. Having stood the test time, Endurance have added the latest technological refinements building on the proven design. The X-series is now manufactured in Endurance’s UK factory in the Midlands. 

Despite an impressive power yield capability, with 30m & 40m tower height options, the X-35 still falls within farm-scale planning parameters, unlike larger 500kw+ turbines which usually require higher strategic level planning applications. 

The X35 is best suited to farms, commercial and industrial sites with a lower average annual wind speed and high energy requirements.

Power Production

The Endurance X-35 is a 225kW wind turbine with a 35m rotor diameter.  The large swept area – along with the efficiency of the generator – means that the X-35 offers a surprisingly high return even in areas with only a modest wind speed. The large rotor and low-level resistance generator allow the turbine to start producing energy at a wind speed of just 3.5 m/s.

A 225kW wind turbine is an ideal solution for landowners wishing to reap a higher power yield. Despite an impressive power yield capability, the X-35 still falls within farm-scale planning parameters, unlike larger 500kw+ turbines which usually require higher strategic level planning applications.
